If you ask a common man in Andhra Pradesh, “What frightens you the most? Bomb or Bandh”, the unambiguous answer is Bandh. These days, it is threatening all the people of Andhra Pradesh by disrupting their normal daily life.
Does the problem lies in the name "Andhra Pradesh" ?, as some part of Andhra Pradesh is called “Andhra”, may be not. It is not the name which is causing the havoc, it is the Regionalism. The reason behind the Telangana people urging for a separate state is most of the Telangana districts are under developed and people think that a separate state may solve the issue. But I think, formation of separate state doesn't solve the problem. Uncorrupted and dedicated politicians should do their job to develop this region.
Instead of thinking how to develop the region our politicians are more concerned about a separate state. The worst way they chose to achieve a separate state is by calling “Bandh”. Does any political party have any idea about how much money we lost because of this Bandh or the problems faced by common man or the worth of a semester lost by many students in AP. All these Politicians announcing Bandh on every alternate day without caring about any of these problems. These politicians should stop involving innocent students into this turmoil by giving false promises.

I support neither a separate state nor “Samikyandra”. These politicians who are disrupting normal life of people should understand the problems caused by these so called Bandhs. I sincerely suggest them to think of some other better ways to resolve this issue and should put an end to these political dramas.
